A range of keyboard shortcuts has been added to the verification page, to support quicker movement through the grid where appropriate. It is described below, and see also the new video guide (via YouTube, 3.5 minutes).
- Once you have highlighted a record in the grid, you can use the keyboard up- and down-arrow keys to change row
- Keys 1 to 5 correspond to the 5 verification actions:
- 1 = Accepted: correct
- 2 = Accepted: considered correct
- 3 = Plausible
- 4 = Not accepted: unable to verify
- 5 = Not accepted: incorrect
- Q will open up the Query record option
- R will open up the Redetermine option
For records that have images:
- Press the keyboard letter "I" (i for image, not l for letter!) to to open the first image for the record that is currently highlighted. Press "I" a second time to close the image.
- Once the image is opened, use the keyboard left- and right-arrows to scroll through the images if there is more than one.
- Images can also be closed by pressing the keyboard "Esc" (Escape) key.
