How do I...? and other questions

I have uploaded a record for a bat I recorded in my local woods. I used the bat specific form, which asks me to upload a recording. However, when I click "Add file" under Media files, the file open dialog box only lists image files, not wav files. How can I upload my wav file?

It lists wav files as supported files so this is odd.

I have a small batch of records entered in training mode. I now want them non-training. I understand conversion is not possible, but is it desirable to delete them before entering the same batch non-training?

Is there some way of using iRecord data to show me the high density of Lepidoptera species areas on the map?. I don't mean for specific species but for ALL Lepidoptera species. For example, parts of Staffordshire would show as red indicating a high number of Lepidoptera species and yellow showing lower numbers.

I have been trying to record Telmatoscopus tristis (Meigen, 1830) but it does not appear to be present on irecord. It is a valid species on NBN. The number of species in Telmatoscopus on iRecord is very low compared to those known in the UK. Perhaps it is placed in another genus? However sorting through tristis I did not spot a Dipteran that appeared in Psychodidae in a genus I knew.

I have tried to enter a record for the Dipteran Sapromyza albiceps. This as far as I know is its correct name. It does not seem to be listed as it does not appear under the suggested names within this taxon. Can this be rectified? Note: it is a taxon in NBN Atlas.

I have a couple of butterfly records to verify where the species is listed as 'Pieris' (i.e. the whites) but the Common Name field is blank.  So I don't know which of the white butterflies (large? small?) the record is referring to. Do I need to go back to the recorder and ask for more information?

For the past few months I haven't been able to clear all of my notifications. At first, I could clear all but 5 of them, the same 5 would always remain and I'd get an error message. Now it's at 36 notifications that I can't clear. 

The error message I get is:

I've had a notification in my inbox here for a couple of months that won't go away when I hit "Acknowledge this list of notifications". I just get the following error message:

I had hoped that getting another notification might help to clear it, but now I've just got 2 notifications sitting there! Anything that can be done...?

I’m trying to delete individual records that I now know are wrong.

I have found a few records have come through for me to verify which have been automatically flagged as incorrect because they are outside my geographical location.  However, the records are correct (photo included) for the area concerned - just incorrect for the area I monitor.  is there any way I can redirect them to the right geographical area - I don't want to make them as incorrect when they aren't.
