New phone app and photos
I like the new features of the phone app, including it using Google lens but my problem is that it frames the photo as a square and my photos are rectangular. The only way I can see to upload without them being cropped is using the irecord site thus losing the convenience of the app. Is this just me?
Incorrect species names
I have entered Parasola hemerobia against one of my entries. It has bee queried as not a current species. I have looked at the Basidiomycota Checklist Online. This shows that Parasola hemerobia is no longer used but its current equivalent is Coprinus hemerobius is the current name. However this is not on the iRecord list of species. What can I do to get it on?
Creative Commons Licences
How do I find out what creative commons licences are associated with my records and with my photos Thanks, Dick
How do I get a species name added so that records of it can be entered?
The ant species Strumigenys perplexa has recently been recorded at several outdoor locatons on the island of Guernsey. It is likely that it will be found on the mainland soon. At present records for this species cannot be made on iRecord because the species name Strumigenys perplexa is not yet available. How do I get this species added so that records can be entered?
Amend a record
I am trying to amend record 4309525. When I try to edit the record the system takes me to the record 4309526. How can this happen?
Claim record
I entered my first record in iRecord yesterday, as a casual record without a user account. I have now created an account. Is there any way to 'claim' my record so it appears on my account?
