How do I...? and other questions

Hi all, is it possible to connect R-Studio to iRecord via an API to access my data directly or would a CSV have to be downloaded an imported manually?

How do activities interact with each other and with general uploading of records?  For example, if I have a record that is applicable to more than one of the activities I am a member of (e.g. an activity relating to a particular taxonomic group and another relating to a particular place or area) will it automatically get linked to each of the activities whose criteria it meets or just the one I choose to upload it to?  If they are not automatically linked is there a way in which the uploader can link records to all relevant activities him/herself?   

This afternoon I inputted a batch of records via the iRecord website. When I checked the details of these records, I found that they were all marked as "unreleased".

I've set up an activity for a Borough Council that covers 2 vice counties but not in entirety. How do I map the actual borough for recorders to establish whether their record is within the boundaries/scope of the activity. Is this possible? Can I create an overlay for the actual Borough that can be saved? Forgive me in advance if this is already covered somewhere. I'm floundering around trying to set this up.

I would like to be able to download all records made for a location, but I am limited to my own, and Activity records.  How can I do this.

I am in the middle of a lot of verification from iNaturalist and suddenly I get 'Elasticsearch query failed' before every action I take. I can carry on if I press OK once or twice each time, but it's making an already long job even longer. Is there a way to avoid it appearing?

I have two short video-grabs of leking Winter Gnats (Trichocera annulate) which I'd like to upload to illustrate/support a record I intend to submit. However I have never done this before and am uncertain how to proceed. Thanks in advance for any advice. 

I've set up a private activity group for a survey. I invited one person with a gmail address without issue a few days ago. I'm trying to invite another person, also with a gmail address, but they are not receiving any invitations or any messages. Can I just check that something isn't broken behind the scenes? It seems really odd. 

I'm trying to set up a Group Activity for Shropshire Wildlife Trust Reserves.  As Administrator I've set up 15 reserves through 'My Sites'.  I now want to set up the filter for records we want to include.  The What, When, Quality and Source buttons all go to a form to complete; fine.  The Where button goes nowhere.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
