How do I...? and other questions

Hi all, 

I have had a couple of cleaner notifications for species outside known range - I'm reasonably confident of my ID and open to expert input but can't see a clear way to address the notification. 


I also had some very helpful feedback from a recorder on a species outside of my comfort zone and would like to send thanks but can't see how to do this either!

I'm trying to import data from a spreadsheet into the LNHS activity. I keep getting the error: 'Please specify a value for the Recorder Name'. What does it mean? My typed name doesn't work. I tried using my Indica Warehouse User ID which also doesn't work.

Is there a way to combine two or more squares for a Site. For instance a park of interest may spill over one 1km square into another and iRecord current lets me choose only one square. Thanks - Neil

This is my first time using this forum.

I recently submitted a record of Clover Melitta bee (Melitta leporina) outside of its known range and soon after was presented with a notification saying something along the lines of 'this record cannot be accepted unless it is from a known recorder'. My question is, what makes a recorder a 'known recorder'? And how could one go about becoming a known recorder?

Some records I entered on the App are showing at the wrong location - although I entered the correct grid ref at the time (and it has been, bizarrely, recorded correctly in a second gridref_calculated field), it appears to have geolocated to and, set it the "actual" location, to the current location. I dont seem to be able to edit the spatial ref of these records. See eg 28262556. How can I edit these records so they are in the right place?

Hi - Ive just noticed Ive been copying a misspelling of a location into some records - I now have 170 records I need to correct which will be time consuming to do one at a time - is there a way to do a bulk update?

I always end up with a 10m square. how do I chose a larger, say, 100m square. If I zoom out the default still seems to be a 10m square. Don't know how the 'hold -' and 'hold +' work.

Just after some clarification as a new user. I've had my records verified, some have been found to be correct others have been changed within the genus. Do I need to do anything to my records to say they've been confirmed or updated or is such oinformation entered automatically by the verifier?

I want to create a filter so I can download a subset of my records but am struggling.  In explore my records I have clicked on 'create new filter', selected and applied the parameters I wish to include and named and saved the filter but it does not then appear in the list of available filters.  What am I doing wrong/missing? 

I've just set up an activity for Worcestershire Bat Group (WBG) records. But whenever someone tries to add that activity to 'my activities' or enter a record they get the following message: "The group you are trying to join has a duplicate name with another group so cannot be joined in this way." Someone who tried this showed me a screenshot of what seems to be a very old WBG 'group' (we have not idea when or who set it up) but I can't for the life of me find 'groups' under 'activities', so I can't see the details.
