How do I...? and other questions

Editing a series of records
I have a series of about 70 records I want to edit by adding a location. The location is identical for each record. I can pull up a list of those records by applying a date filter. If I then edit one of those records and Submit it my list reverts to all my records. Is there a way of retaining the records pulled out by the filter after editing one of the records? Or do I have to re-apply the filter each time?
Video and sound
Is it possible to upload a video taken on an iPhone with sound?
Becoming a verifier
How does someone become a verifier when not attached to a particular recording scheme?
Shaded grid squares
Hi, can anyone explain why some grid squares show as block shaded in blue on the species map when zoomed in? Toggling layers or map settings doesnt seem to help. It makes it impossible to see sightings within that area. This is through Chrome browser on Android 11.
Unable to add a species in the “species box”
I have added species previously but I am now unable to add anything. Each time I type in a species scientific name it comes up in the drop down box but it does nothing when I click on it. How do I sort this? I have lots to add to iRecord but I am currently unable to add anything, very frustrating. Thanks in advance. This problem seems to have sorted itself now.
Finding notifications
I have a message to say that I have notifications but when I click on the link, there are none shown? Any ideas?
Media licence B
What does everyone else put for the media licence? to add your photos. I had a look at the list and none of it means anything to me. Help would be appreciated. Thanks
Thank you both for taking the time to respond. That makes it a lot easier for me to make a choice. Thanks again, Juliet
Vague date formats when importing data
I have a relatively large number of historic records (mostly 18th century) to upload. The records have been stored to a spreadsheet in csv format.
The records contain dates in various formats. Most are just the year eg 1857. A few have a year range eg 1880-1884 and just a couole have a secific date eg 21/6/1887.
