How do I...? and other questions

How do I view my historical records? I can only see the last couple of years.

I joined an 'activity' for recording a specific taxonomic group and I assumed that I would be able to choose when a record that I entered to appear in the group activity. However, it looks like every record I upload to iRecord now appears in this activity group and there doesn't appear to be any way to select when a record goes into the group. Can anyone help?

I cannot get rid of data stuck in bot( data fields for species name and English name and there any search produces no records

What to do?

When I enter a record through the website, is it possible to specify that it should not be linked to my default Activity? (In this case, the location of the record is outside the vice-county that the Activity relates to.)  

Alternatively, is it possible to suspend that Activity temporarily while I enter the record, without removing myself from it completely?  I believe you can do that on the app.   

Is it possible to search the forums to see whether my question has already been answered?

Hi. New to this so please be patient with me. I had a Privet Hawk Moth yesterday in my garden. It was huge so I knew it wasn’t your average moth. Having googled it I can see it’s definitely a Privet Hawk Moth but I cannot upload it to my records because it’s not listed. I tried uploading it under the Hummingbird Hawk Moth but it got rejected. Obviously I know it isn’t a Hummingbird Hawk Moth and I did explain this in my comments but it got rejected still. So to cut a long story short how do you upload a specific species that isn’t listed? Thank you

I have a spreadsheet of records in .xslx format

I have tried to upload it and had line errors which I have amended so it should upload

I now get an upload error when I go to the import settings screen

Is this a problem with the worksheet or the website?

I recently set up an activity and somehow have been removed as the administrator and can no longer access it - as I was the only administrator this is a problem as it can no longer be edited. Is there a way for me to be remotely readded as the admin for the activity? 

It's something I have always used, and is stated in the instructions, to indicate that you saw a species but did not get a total. This time trying to save produced an error.  I googled the issue where it said use the drop-down menu to say Present.  There's no drop-down menu!

Any ideas?

How do I resubmit a record that has had the species corrected?

Do I need to change the identifier back to myself and then resubmit so that the expert can verify the corrected record?
