How do I...? and other questions

Is it possible to get an email alert when you get a message with a question about a record?

The last 23 records I’ve entered have remained at Pending status. I press the Upload or Upload All tab and get a brief action which suggests it is transferring but all these records remain. As far as I’m aware the data is complete and I’ve not had a problem uploading up to this point. Any clues how to progress these records?

I have had trouble uploading simple butterfly sightings.  I checked my internet connection was good.  I then signed out of the app and back in again and now all my records uploaded last year have disappeared aswell as the pending records I was trying to upload from the weekend!  Any idea what’s happening and if I’ve lost my data?

Even in the best wi-fi conditions I am unable to send records.  The app is refusing to communicate. 

I had considered reinstalling but am I right in saying i will lose my records?

If not, where are they kept?  My phone is rooted, so I would be able to save them.

I have saved several records through the iRecord App. I would like to assign them, or move them, to a specific activity. How can I do it?

I am having a problem uploading a Moth survey.  It just won't go. If I delete the photos I suspect it will but the photos are needed for most of the species especially the locally scarce ones and those I am not 100% sure on identification.  There are 36 species records in this survey and even is i eliminate some of the photos i still want to send 27. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a photo of a lady beetle taken in London, Wembley, in the allotment today 30/04/2022. It has 9 spots on each wings and one black spot sharet between wings. I try to identify it, but I am not a specialist. Photo is available at

I submitted a recording of sedum and the feedback requests I send a sample to a National expert for verification.  Does anyone know how I go about this please?

Cannot enter Red Kite as Milvus milvus or as Red Kite or any wild card etc

I have set up several polygons to enable selection of data from various locations in the BSS Urban Flora activity. A co-admin can see these polygons but does not seem to be able to apply them to select data. Am I going about this the wrong way? Does anyone have suggestions?
