Species suggestions

I can no longer click on species suggestions. The app offers suggestions but just won't let me click on them. 

I've uninstalled app.  Turned off phone. Re installed.  Twice, but that didnt help. 

I have Googled the problem and tried various fixes, such as adjusting screen sensitivity,  clearing the app cache etc

 Just wonder if the problem is tied to my account/phone or app wide?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
