Records not registering on system

Hi

I added a number of records via the app over the weekend, and today, and these are not showing in my overall stats. I'm not sure when this stopped updating but I noticed it at the weekend as we saw a high volume of butterflies plus several new species, none of which have registered in the statistics section. I have sent an email about this but wondered if anyone on here could help?  Thanks, Jen

Apologies - I overlooked the form. I hope this covers what you need but if you do require any additional information please let me know. I don't know if this is specifically an app issue but I wasn't sure where else to add this on the forum. 

1. App Name (which app are you using)

2. Issue Description (clearly explain the problem you’re experiencing) 

Records entered via the app are not updating on the system. So records entered for new specifies are not showing in the stats section and the numbers of butterflies recorded is not increasing. All records have been verified.

 

3. Expected Behaviour (what did you expect to happen instead)

The number and species of butterflies recorded should be visible in the statistics section of the app. New species recorded at the weekend are not being updated here

 

4. Steps to Reproduce (list the steps someone can follow to see the issue)

I am adding butterflies via app using the multiple species options (not sure that's its official name). The records are being recorded fine and also verified by the County recorder but they are not appearing on my overall statistics

 

5. Date/Time Issue Observed (when did you first notice the issue, provide a specific date if possible)

First noticed on Saturday 10th after adding several records to the system. This issues has continued since, with records added on Sunday and today also not updating

 

6. Frequency of the Issue (is it consistent or intermittent)
 

Every time I add a record

 

 

7. Screenshots or Screen Recording (optional – helps illustrate the issue clearly)
 

Not sure this would be useful

 

8. App Version (which version of the app are you using, check in the app settings or app store)

v2 6.0(260)

 

9. Device (what phone or tablet are you using, include model and brand)

Samsung A51 - don't think this is a device issue. Feels more like a database issue to me. I have had no issues with the app until recently and have been using it for a number of years

 

10. Operating System Version (The Android or iOS version running on your device)
 

Android 13

 

11. System Update Status (are any pending Android/iOS updates)
 

No

 

12. Available Device Storage (how much free storage space does your device currently have)
 

128GB (I think?)

Thanks for getting back to me. Is there a date for this release so I know when  to expect a resolution? Also will this update my records retrospectively ie include any records I'm adding now.

Yes, the new version will gather statistics from all your records. I do not know when we will release the new version yet; it is currently being tested, but we aim for next week.
