How do you respond to questions asked about records
System home page and activities unreachable since yesterday evening.
We have recently successfully completed work to move iRecord and related Indicia systems to a new server. It is now possible to add records to iRecord again, but there are still some issues that will take a little longer to be addressed:
iRecord and related Indicia systems will be unavailable on Monday 13 November, in order to continue work on the server move. This should be the last time we need to do this, although there may be additional snagging issues to address following the move. We will be monitoring the process and will fix any issues as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your patience. As before, the iRecord apps can still be used to add records, which can be uploaded once we are back online.
It seems to be a complete waste of time putting anything in the forum they don't get responded to. I would expect someone on the organisation to be monitoring the forum and responding on iRecords behalf. I have a couple of questions but I can't find a way of asking them directly. Firstly I don't seem to be able to upload videos instead of photos. Much of what I want to record on Tackley Heath is captured on a trail camera and, whilst I do get it to take 2 stills before a 20 sec video often the video is much clearer than the stills.
I think at one time it was possible to make announcements of upcoming events to group members. Can I do that now and, if so, how, please?
What came of the review we took part in back in March this year? Have I missed something?
Last week we were offline for a day while we worked on the planned move to a new server for iRecord., but unfortunately we were not able to complete that work within the day. This means we have had to schedule another day for this work, so that iRecord and related Indicia systems will be unavailable on Monday 9 October.

Is there anyone out there who could help run us through the reality of running a BioBlitz event using iRecord and how to use the system please? We are panicking as we dont seem to be able to see any of the test data we have uploaded. Thanks a million in advance.
