I photographed a very dinstinctive black, orange and cream moth which I identified using google lens as the Jersey Tiger Moth but irecord would not accept the name and I was unable to transfer the photo from my normal phone photos to irecord.
I photographed a very dinstinctive black, orange and cream moth which I identified using google lens as the Jersey Tiger Moth but irecord would not accept the name and I was unable to transfer the photo from my normal phone photos to irecord.
The website name recognistion starts as soon as you start typing, so the species is available to record, but just named Jersey Tiger. If you start typing the 'moth' bit at the end it will no longer match as the system doesn't have a closest match recognition like a search engine would.
