Notifications sent by email not showing on website

Hi, I have received some notifications by email recently, including two where the verifier was able to identify plants I couldn't identify.  None of these recent notifications appears on the "my notifications tab".  Should they?  And is there a way of asking a follow up question?

Yes, you can send a message to the verifier throw iRecord. Click on the record (view record details - on the right side) and screw down to 'add new comment'.

The verifier will be able to see your comment there.
