Has anybody else experienced issues with the 'stage' field when entering records? Depending on the taxonomic group being entered the drop-down menu for this field should offer appropriate life-cycle stages e.g. ova, larval, pupa, adult for insects; flowering, fruiting, vegetative for flowering plants and so on. I have found, though that on some occasions it refuses to offer the appropriate range of options and, for example when entering a ribwort plantain record, just provided choices of 'unrecorded', 'adult', 'pre-adult' and 'other'. Is this something others have encountered and is there a fix?

Still happening
I tested the enter a casual record page yesterday and just now and it's still happening but it's inconsistent. When entering a butterfly species only the generic life stages are available but when entering a frog species the life stages for amphibians are available.
This is likely related to the UK Species Inventory update that was carried out recently.
Thank you very much for…
Thank you very much for reporting this. We are aware that since the update to the UKSI in Indicia, the stage terms in the form are not linking to the taxonomy correctly. We are working to resolve this issue, I apologise for the inconvenience.
Best wishes,
Robin
Having been away for a couple of weeks, I have just entered a number of casual records and found the same issue. Perhaps this has been happening since the downtime last week?
