I have stopped receiving notifications that I have records to verify and I have also stopped receiving notifications that my personal records have been verified. I presume, therefore that the messages from the records I have verified aren't reaching their intended recipients. Strangely, if I go to the 'Home' page, there are notifications there stating I have records awaiting verification but the emails have stopped.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?

I reported it to iRecord and on 26th November was informed they were aware of a problem and anticipated it would be fixed in 8-10 day (so between today and Saturday). Will see what happens next Tuesday which is the day my weekly notifications usually arrive.
Still no fixed
But there is now a notification on the home page telling people there is a problem. Wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't that the notifications are still being deleted as if they have been sent and there is no way to recover them after the fact. I've now turned off receiving notifications so hopefully they will at least stay around so I can check them here.
Must admit problems like this make it really hard for me to advocate that people should use iRecord for submitting records - if verifier communications are just going to vanish into a void few verifiers would want to use this to communicate with people.

There is no message about a problem on the home page anymore. Does anyone know if the issue with notifications has been fixed.
I've currently got emailed notifications switched off because I cannot afford to lose them when it fails to email them out so I cannot tell. Reluctant to turn it back on and lose all the unprocessed notifications if it is still broken.

Since the message on the home page disappeared I have had three sets of verification notifications, but still no emails. I haven't had emails from verification notifications for a very long term (or at least only extremely sporadically). Strangely though I always seem to receive emails from NBN cleaner notifications.
I'm getting nothing by email and some notifications
I recently had four record verified. I got no notifications about the verification and no emails. I did get two notifications for one of the records -- the cleaner warning about identification difficulty and the grid being outside the known range -- but again no emails... although I can't remember for sure if I used to emails from the cleaner or not.
Not receiving notifications of verification or queries
I used to receive notifications every time my records were verified or if a comment/query was added but I have had none since mid December although at least six of my records have been verified and one had comments added.

Thanks @OliP_CEH for the suggestion. I've done as instructed, so let's see what happens. My moth records are normally verified in February, so hopefully the wait will not be too long.

Thanks Ian -- please let us know if it works. We are aware of iRecord emails being flagged as spam by BT and gmail (and perhaps other providers), but we have been having difficulties working with UKCEH IT infrastructure to overcome this. Hopefully the safe sender/address book solution is a reasonable work around until we are able to fix it at our end. Cheers

@OliP_CEH I did as you suggested, logged a hoverfly record (which was verified 11 hours ago) and have received no notification or email about the successful verification. It's normal for me to not receive a notification if I get an email so I guess that means the email is probably being sent.
I've checked the settings in my iRecord account and it's set to "Email digest frequency for verification of your records" = hourly.
My email provider is Yahoo. Yes I've checked my spam folder.
Why did you change the email address to "noreply" from "irecord"? I never had any problems receiving emails from the irecord email address. Maybe it's the noreply part of the email address that looks spammy. Why don't you switch back to the irecord address until you've fixed this issue? If you want to do some A/B testing of the two addresses I'd be happy to help.

The home page no longer shows any error messages. Does anyone know if the notification issue has been resolved?

Having added both the 'noreply' and 'iRecord' @ceh.ac.uk to my contacts and safe sender lists, I had a batch of 22 verification notifications yesterday, which have now disappeared from 'My Notifications' as usual, but I didn't receive an email for them (I'm set up for daily emails). So that work around doesn't appear to have worked (at least for me).
I noticed, reading the github link that you included in a response to @Mesh, that one issue might be with email systems being alarmed by the header of the emails being from ceh.ac.uk but the source being nerc-wallingford.ac.uk, so perhaps including the nerc-wallingford.ac.uk as a safe sender as well might make a difference.

So it seems that also adding the nerc-wallingford.ac.uk domain to safe senders hasn't worked either. Fingers crossed a solution will be found.
I am not a verifier, and so cannot comment on the notifications that verifiers receive, but receiving emailed notifications of my verified records has been very sporadic for quite some time. I go months without receiving emailed notifications, and then may get a few before another long quiet period. I therefore have to check the website for notifications every day, just in case there are queries from a verifier. Interestingly, I seem to always receive NBN cleaner notifications by email though.
