Looking at my uploaded records, I get a "broken image" icon instead of any photos I have attached to those records. My photos are present as expected if I look at the records on the iRecord website.

I expected to see my photos, along with the match probability, as used to be the case.

Open the "iRecord Butterflies" app
Click on "My Records"
Click on "UPLOADED"

Issue was noticed previously (possibly related to an "iRecord Butterflies" app update which installed earlier this month). Last confirmed occurrence: 2025-05-30.

I can't be certain. I think the most recent record (41759552, Vanessa atalanta) was after I first saw this problem, but I could be remembering wrong. I'll check the next time I record a butterfly.
I case it makes a difference, my usual practice is to initially create the record using iRecord Butterflies on my phone without a photo, and separately take a photo my DSLR camera. Then, later, I edit the record to add the photo before uploading it.

Thanks. Do you 1) upload the record from the app and then add the photo on the website, or 2) do you keep that record as a 'draft' (i.e. don't upload) and somehow attach the photo to the record from your camera before uploading?
If you don't have any pending records, then try reinstalling the app to see if that changes anything.

- Using iRecord Butterflies, create a record with all information except the photo, leaving it as a draft
Then, later
- Upload the photo to Google Photos
- Edit the record in iRecord Butterflies to attach the photo from "Gallery"

I've just uninstalled and reinstalled the application. When I started the newly installed version, I got a brief message saying "Upgrading..." (I recall seeing that message -- or a very similar one -- once before, about the time this problem started), but I still have all the same broken photo icons when I try to look at my uploaded records.

Thanks, do you have the ID of the record that doesn't show the photos? It would be great to get some screenshots, there are multiple sites that allow to upload images and then give you the URL, like https://www.file.io or similar.
