Download all records for an activity

How can I download all records for an activity? There are download buttons for "species" "familes" and "groups" tab, but no "records" ?

That probably means that you don't have permission to download the individual records. From what I remember, you can download records if a) they are ones you have input, b) they are a group that you are set up as a verifier for, or c) they are for an activity that you have set up and were added via a form setup for the activity. That means if the activity captures records not added via a specific form, e.g. it is an activity to collate all species within an area regardless of who input them or what form used, then you can only donwload a species list, not the records themselves.

The best bet probably to email iRecord support who might be able to supply you with the data.

I got this reply from Robin on the helpdesk

"To include records in your activity downloads, it needs to be submitted through one of your group recording forms. This would mean changing the section on which records are included in your group reports to the first option:

How to decide which records to include in the group reports:

Include records on reports if:

  • they were posted.... and were submitted via a data entry form for the group

Unfortunately, if someone has not submitted a record directly to your activity we cannot give you access to download the records. However, we do provide access to all records to Local Environmental Records Centres, and so they may be able to provide the records for you. Alternatively, you could use the spatial search on the NBN Atlas in order to view the records there (Search for records | NBN Atlas)."

Very annoying!  (And the MBN Atlas doesn't seem to have any of my recent records.)
