Where are record submissions found

Submitted by DanielAcorn on

Hello! I'm new here!

I've submitted 2 records using the SRS (spider recording scheme) submission forms. I can't find any record of my submissions however. Are they located anywhere and will I be told if a submission is successful?

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel.

All of your records, regardless of which form you use to add them, should go into your records section (it can take about 15 minutes sometimes before you can see a record you have just submitted). To view your records go to the Explore tab and go to My records. You can then filter by date, family, species etc. I'm not quite sure what you mean by the submission being successful in this context - as long as you filled in all of the compulsory fields and clicked at the end to submit the record then it should be in the iRecord database. At some point one of the volunteer verifiers covering spiders will view your record and either accept it or not based on what you have submitted. At ths point depending on your settings you will either get and email or it will show up in your notifications when you log on to iRecord.
