I was wondering whether there is any link between the UK app iRecordButterflies, the European Butterfly Count app and the US eButterfly app? It would be great if there were some tying up of such data records globally.
The context is that I visited some European countries and also Utah in the US over the summer and recorded various butterflies locally. The US eButterfly app seemed to work well, but I was not able to record casual sightings in the European Butterfly Count app. I have some photos, including date and location that I would like to add. In one case a few sightings were not on the more common butterfly lists for the country concerned, and may therefore be of particular conservation interest.
