Hi I have been verifying moth records fo the county on Irecord and then where there are id errors in the iNaturalist records I log in there and add a correct id to the list that then usually updates to iRecord after a time.
I find that though when the id in iNaturalist is a species"complex" then the name passed to iRecord is that species not the info that it is a complex and therefore several possible species
an example is here with Yponomeuta padella complex - iRecord ref 33826377
I assume it is the linkage of taxon that is coming across with the record but where a complex is in the iNat name that really ought to just come across as the genus.
