Has an independent page somewhere at BRC (not on iRecord itself) been considered for Service Status of the various components of iRecord. It doesn't go offline very often, except for scheduled maintenance, but it would save worry and multiple postings about the system, e.g. indexing, not working if we could have a known place to find out whether problems have already been reported.
If such a page were made, what are the chances of keeping it up-to-date?

That’s a great idea — a dedicated Service Status page would really help reduce confusion during outages. The key challenge, as you said, would be keeping it reliably updated in real-time.
