Along with Peter Thompson the asco man we have identified the myxo parasite Berkelella stilbigera in the field but can't seem to be able to record it on the database - I have tried numerous synonyms with no luck - can anyone help please.

Ok - I will use that one although discussions of late lead me to believe the species is separate - it is a minefield. Thank you for your response and keep up the great work. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
We use the UK Species Inventory (UKSI) to create the iRecord species lists. The preferred synonym for Berkelella stilbigera is Polycephalomyces tomentosus, which you can record in iRecord. Please let me know if this does not work for you.
