De-selecting an activity

When I enter a record through the website, is it possible to specify that it should not be linked to my default Activity? (In this case, the location of the record is outside the vice-county that the Activity relates to.)

Alternatively, is it possible to suspend that Activity temporarily while I enter the record, without removing myself from it completely? I believe you can do that on the app.

I think more information is needed about what you are doing

I don't quite understand what you mean by default activity, or removing yourself from the activity. The 'default' is just adding all records to your account, records should only go into an activity if you either add them via an activity form or they meet the requirements that you have specified for an activity (for example all records within a site boundary).

Hopefully one of these scenarios covers what you are trying to do.

If you are adding records via the casual record form or list of records form for a record out of county and have an activity set up that covers a different vice county, then that is fine, you don't need to do anything as the activity is only capturing records within the set boundary.
If you are adding records via a form for an activity you have set but have some records that are outside the activity area, you just need to finish adding your 'in activity' ones and then go to the casual record or list of records and add the additional ones.
