I use it weekly and have for years. Very useful and as most records are checked by species experts, the data is quite reliable. The NBN is riddled with errors in old records but hopeuflly if verifiers are checking records properly, the iRecord data migrated to the NBN should be better.
I've had a few records corrected by verifiers, which is good as it helps me but also assures me that the records are being checked properly. It might be a little more complex than iNat, but the records from there are poor (very little data, spurious/vague location names, silly user names etc etc).
When you start using it, create an account and always log in! You have more control over your records this way. I dont use the app to submit records, just as a notepad in the field. I enter the records when home via the web version on my laptop. A little double working but I can ensure records are accurate and add more detail, supporting information that way.
