There seems to be an issue with missing species in the Activity summary and the Group tab in Explore activity records tabs for Activities.
I run an activity (Cemetery Wildlife Watch) and keep en eye on the species and records counts to update for monthly updates to activity members. Following the most recent maintenance, I noticed a steady drop in the species count in the Activity summary from 2,815 to 2,722. Most missing species are fungi and lichens, and I initially thought this was due to an update in the species inventory. However, looking at the missing species in more I don’t think this can be the whole explanation. There are also missing bird species, the number dropping from 94 before the update to 91. The missing species are Greenfinch, Meadow Pipit and Teal. The records exist: I can see them in the Records tab in Explore activity records, and they also show up in the Species tab in Explore activity records. But they do not show up in the Species tab in Activity summary. The number of records seems to be accurate. But there seems to be an issue with records of some species not feeding into the Activity summary, and the Group tab in Explore activity records.
This may just be temporary glitch in the system following the recent maintenance update and you may be fully aware of it. But I’m raising this just in case.
