I recently replied to a post in the "How do I..." section of the forum and included a link to an outside website which was removed meaning that paragraph no longer made much sense. I assume that was because it was a commercial website and I had unwittingly fallen foul of the forum rules; fair enough. So I made another short post to explain the situation which contained no links and that post hasn't even appeared! I've searched the forum and the help section and can find no trace of any guidance on how to use the forum... unless I've somehow overlooked it. This is frustrating as I am a regular user of the forum and was just trying to be helpful, especially since the forum is littered with spam postings containing links to external websites (some of which have been very shady or downright dangerous in the past). I've checked my notifications and there is no indication there about why my post hasn't appeared. It would be useful if we could have some guidance on what is and isn't allowed in the forum rather just having to try and guess.
