Hi, I tried using the email address shown in the User Guide page 68 but it has bounced back to me so I will try here instead.
I have received some records which I’m preparing to import via a spreadsheet. Some of the records are as a result of sampling methods not covered in the iRecord guide, would it be possible to add some or all of them to the approved list? They are :
- Hand potted
- Leaf Vacuum
- Hand vacuum
- Bottle trap

BTW - is there a means of doing a search in the various forums looking for a particular topic such as 'Sampling Methods'? I couldn't see that there was..
You can choose 'Method (free text)' which will enable you to enter all of the above. The import guidance shows that there are two (or three if you include "Observation type") ways of importing method information, but the free text version is reccomended in most cases.
