record assigned to multiple VC's?

record 25592675  has a grid ref in west norfolk, but the VC shows as North Lincolnshire | Leicestershire | South Lincolnshire | West Norfolk | Cambridgeshire | Northamptonshire

Can't see how that can happen

I have just had the same problem. Record 25972455 is for a location in Nottinghamshire (Grid Ref and site name match) but it has been assigned to 10 Vice Counties

South-west Yorkshire | North Lincolnshire | Nottinghamshire | Leicestershire | South Lincolnshire | Derbyshire | Cheshire | Staffordshire | Northamptonshire | Warwickshire which means it also lists 14 LRC boundaries.

I don't verify Nottinghamshire so will it stay in my verification grid until whoever verifies Notts deals with it?

The explanation from iRecod staff is that;

The long list of vice counties can be generated from the record being marked as sensitive. As verifier you can see where the record has originated from, but this information is hidden to other people.

And that the record should be verified as normal.
