unable to submit records

For last week or so I've tried to submit records using the app (v5.4.3 on Android on Moto g7) but it doesn't upload anything. I've tried both the submit all button and upload button on individual records.

The records stay on the app as draft.

I've tried restarting my phone and trying again. But it still won't submit records.

Have been trying to submit records from Mammal Tracker to iRecord since the beginning of December with no success - just received the message 'Service not found'.  I have just tried signing out of the Mammal Tracker app (android) and logging in again, but get the message 'iRecord reported a problem: Service not found'.  Submission from the iRecord app, using the same login id and password, works OK.

Can anyone tell me what's happened to the app.

Since the last up-date it has not been working, not allowing uploads. 

I asked for assistance and was advised to clear my cache andl og in again.

This done there was no change. so I decided to uninstall with a view to reinstalling. However looking at Google Play the app doesn't seem to be listed anymore.

Can anyone advise.

One of my recorders uses the mobile app on his phone. It says ‘pending 35’ at the top. Does this mean that the records are sitting on his phone pending uploading to iRecord? He seems to think it means I haven’t verified them. I don’t use the app so don’t know. Any help welcomed. Thanks

Yes, that will be correct, Dave. Your post got me to go through and tidy up some Mobile iRecord records and upload them. There are rules that require things like method and stage to be completed, but if they aren't then the app just doesn't upload without warning the user! The lack of some field entries is much more obviously shown by the app, but not all. Get your recorder to check that those fields, especially method, are completed.

Hello, I downloaded the irecord butterflies Android app first and added some observations. All seems to be working. Then I downloaded irecord and added an observation but have been unable to upload it. When I try to login using the same user details as for the butterfly app it does nothing. If I try to register with the same details it does nothing. I have no idea what to do now ? Please confirm whether both work with the same login details. Nick
