Records in 'pending' are not imploding on app.

Can anyone tell me why the records I have uploaded stay in 'pending' over the last few days?

I think I'm having the same issue with the app.  Records seem stuck in Pending - have tried uploading multiple times on different dates both as individual records and also through 'Submit all' in Settings.  No error received just says it's uploading then nothing happens - still in pending.  Notes added to report template below.

2. Describe the issue *

Cannot upload records added to the app - stuck in pending.

 

3. Expected behaviour 

Expected records added to app to move from Pending to Uploaded in the app when click to submit (and then be visible in 'My Records' on the iRecord website)

 

4. To Reproduce

1. Add record to app and click upload

2. Record stays in Pending (same if try to upload at time of adding or if go to a record added previously)

 

OR

 

1. Go to Setting > App > Submit All

2. Asks "Are you sure you want to set all valid records for submission" - click Submit

3. Message comes up saying sending x number of records (the number in Pending)

4. Records still in Pending - nothing has happened.

v5.4.4

 

6. Device

Samsung Galaxy A71

 

7. When did this happen

Have tried multiple times to submit, including 1st July 2022 around 1pm, but can't remember exactly when the other times were - over several weeks at least.

153 uploads since May 2022 remain in Pending & not visible on the website. I'm logged in & have good 4G data connection.

Could this be related to password changes at all?  A user we know of is having the issue of records being stuck in pending in the app which seems to have occurred after they changed their password on the iRecord website, though specific dates not known and could just be a coincidence.

There is a reply to somebody else saying that there is a bug on the website preventing it connecting to the app properly and that it will be fixed shortly. Though that was months ago! Browsing the other forums reveals reports of all kind of issues stopping people submitting records, most of which receive no reply which is rather disheartening.

I've now seen a post saying 'to report specific issues please contact iRecord on irecord@ceh.ac.uk' so will try that
