New mobile applications

Submitted by willround on

Hi everyone,

I am a mobile (iOS) app developer with a passion for the environment, and was wondering if it's possible to include data submission in apps that I have built myself?   It so happens that I am already working on an application which could quite easily allow users to add records to the iRecord database (on top of what it already does), if the API (tech speak!) was made available to me.

I came here whilst looking at the 'Asian Hornet Watch' app, and I have seen that other apps also can submit to the database...  so it must be possible with the right permissions -- I'm curious how I can 'jump in' and try to help!?

If anyone knows where to go or who to speak to that would great!

Thanks,

Will

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aqsa, and I am an iOS app developer with a strong passion for environmental conservation. I am currently working on an application that could easily allow users to add records to the iRecord database, in addition to its existing features.

I came across the 'Asian Hornet Watch' app and noticed that several other applications are also able to submit data to the iRecord database. This suggests that integration is possible with the appropriate permissions and access to the necessary API.

I am eager to contribute to this effort and would love to know how I can get involved. Could you please guide me on where to start or whom to contact to obtain the necessary API access and permissions?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
