Hello
Thanks for working on a fix for the pending records. I quite like the new format, but in the iRecord App (on iOS) there are a couple of other things that do not work for me since the update to version 6.2.0, and I am not sure whether they are intentional.
Previously, when I added a species to a Species List Survey, stage defaulted to, for example, Adult for insects or Not recorded for plants, which made it easy to enter a list of records. Now, stage is not filled in by default and I haven't found a way to lock it for a survey, so I think I need to go to the details tab of each record and add a stage, because I cannot upload without it.
If I have no mobile signal, I cannot select a grid ref from the map: no 'get my location' button or zoom in and out buttons appear as they do when I am connected to mobile data, and I cannot select a grid square from the map. Previously I think I could do both of those things offline, at least if the map tiles were in the cache because I had recently used them.
Best wishes,
Mark

I'll be able to fix the offline map issue.
I found out that the Species List survey attribute locking hasn't been working as intended for a number of years now (I checked a version from 2023, and it is the same behaviour). The reason you had your list species Stage attribute set is because you have locked that attribute in the regular Record survey. This will work the same in the current app version. e.g. 1. Create a single butterfly record (not a list), 2. Set and lock the Stage attribute to 'Adult', 3. You can now delete this record if you want 4. Create a List survey and add a butterfly to it - it should have the Stage = 'Adult'.
I won't be able to fix this yet, but I have flagged this as an issue for the next app version.
Hi Mark, thanks, I will work on these two issues.
