Loss of pending data and ability to use anything but ‘surveys’

2. Issue Description (clearly explain the problem you’re experiencing) 

Working fine earlier today. Tried to add a record at about 3pm and found that I could only see a message saying that I only appear to be able to use surveys rather than add individual records. The uploaded records are still visible but no longer have a total showing. All my pending records have disappeared. The app also has a different appearance as if it has been updated but I cannot find a version number.

 

3. Expected Behaviour (what did you expect to happen instead)

Should Still be able to see pending records including those added at appx. 10.45am today (17.05.25). Also be able to add individual records which is how I always work.

I have managed to add a record but have not yet tried to upload it.

4. Steps to Reproduce (list the steps someone can follow to see the issue)

Open app. See box saying something like ‘would you like to add a new survey’ . Click on home to try to get out of Surveys but that is where I aready am. Notice pending tab says ‘0’.

 

5. Date/Time Issue Observed (when did you first notice the issue, provide a specific date if possible)

Between appx. 10.45 and 15.00 today 17May2025

 

6. Frequency of the Issue (is it consistent or intermittent)
 

Closed app and reopened several times but still persists

 

 

7. Screenshots or Screen Recording (optional – helps illustrate the issue clearly)
 

I don’t seem to be able to photos but maybe I need to click on one of the above icons 

8. App Version (which version of the app are you using, check in the app settings or app store)

version 6.2.0  (208) .Has the app just updated today?

 

9. Device (what phone or tablet are you using, include model and brand)

iPhone SE 2020

 

10. Operating System Version (The Android or iOS version running on your device)
 

IOS 18.4.1

 

11. System Update Status (are any pending Android/iOS updates)
 

Yes to 18.5. I have just stopped automatic updates for now in case 

 

12. Available Device Storage (how much free storage space does your device currently have)

There is a fix now in the pipeline to bring back the pending records. It is currently in Beta testing and you can join the Beta testing and try it out by following these instructions:

1. Upload any pending records you currently have.

2. Follow this link on your iOS device - it will ask to install the TestFlight app and join the Beta.

3. Install the Beta app using TestFlight. Once installed, open the app and check that all the pending records are present.

4. Upload the pending records.

5. Let me know how it went.

Many thanks for your reply and the possible fix for this issue. I have got as far as downloading the beta but now TestFlight is asking for a code to allow me to use it.
