Is it possible to upload a Plant Survey via the app to a specific activity?

Submitted by snailyumyum on

For a local recording effort I would like to be able to use the iRecord app in the field to record a list of plants and for that list to go to a specific activity group.  My trials so far show that individual records can be assigned to a recording activity but lists can't. I tried altering the settings of the group to accept records not submitted specifically to the activity but this didn't catch the records from my list. Have I missed something?  On the website I can add a list of records but then I would need to record on paper or transfer records from my app to the website manually.

Is it possible to upload a Plant Survey via the app to a specific activity?  If not would this feature be possible in the future?

Thank you that's excellent. I have found that the general survey does allow assignment to a project so this might be a temporary way around this.

I've noticed in the plant survey option on the app there are no abundance choices in the adundance window. Is this coming?

Yes, you can add abundance to each plant occurrence in the Plant Survey. You can tap on the plant in the list and assign more information to that entry, including the abundance.

I've experimented further and see you have to write the abundance. So used to choosing from a list as in the other forms.  Many Thanks
