What does the setting "Use grid ref" in the iRecord app actually do? Once uploaded they still show as lat/long under Grid ref. Even with the uncertainty value this is potentially wrong as the record could (and often is!) from a corner of the square that represents the grid ref, and not within the circle created by the lat/long and uncertainty. I had assumed ticking this setting in the app would mean the Grid ref would be set to a Grid ref.
Grid ref option calculates and displays the OS ref within the app and uploads it to the iRecord as a separate field. The primary location attached to the record is still lat/lng + accuracy.
