iRecord App - altitude?

The altitude value comes directly from the device's GPS and isn't modified (maybe rounded).

What about when the grid ref is manually entered? I've just added a record some hundreds of miles away from my current location and iRecord is showing an altitude?

What is probably happening is that your record first received a GPS-sourced location (with an altitude). Then, you manually modified the location, but the app retained the old altitude value. I will fix it so manually entered values will clean up the altitude parameters.
