What does "unreleased" mean?

This afternoon I inputted a batch of records via the iRecord website. When I checked the details of these records, I found that they were all marked as "unreleased". Also, the submission date is given as "1st January 1970 at 01:00".

Is this a glitch in iRecord or have I got something wrong?

This morning I checked my records again. They are no longer marked as "unreleased" and the submission dates are correct.

For reference, the occurrence id numbers are 34578530, 34578529, 34578528, etc.
