I have a large number of bat records to submit from static sessions over the last three years in villages, Reserves etc in the Nidderdale area and east towards York.
I want to upload the relevant .wav file in support of my ID in case the verifier/s want to check it, for each record, but it's isnt accepting them due to size. Resizing to a different format is probably time consuming in view of the number of records, what's the best thing to do?
I havent been able to find any procedures to do all this, possibly may have missed them, and perhaps the only way is to convert them?
Any suggestions or help appreciated!

Yes, I will do the same.
How do you cope with for instance a myotis which you have every reason to believe might be Natterer's, but while you cant be 100% specific it would be useful for future researchers to be aware of.at that location. Is there a way of submitting it.
I keep every single file I have ever recorded so I can always go back to it so no problem there if verification on anything is required.

Because Myotis are so hard to do by sound only I would put the record in as Myotis but with the comment "probably Natterer's". The record verification grid shows comments so the local bat recorder can then ask you for the recording if needed. Also, Explore all records shows comments so that people can see what you've put there.

I put quite a lot of bat records onto iRecord and I've found the simplest approach is to provide a screenshot of the bat recording as visualised in whatever software you use for that purpose. Keep the .wav file in case there are any queries, they can be sent on by email if needed.
