Its an American species
That species doesn't appear to be on the British list (a quick look on GBIF suggests it is found in North America - Metacyrba taeniola similis Banks, 1904 (gbif.org)), so that's why it isn't an option. If it was identified using an app then it would be worth seeing if there is a UK, or at least a European version so that is only suggests European species.
I tried to record a Ribbon Jumping Spider Metacyrba taeniola ( I think that's what it is) but the app doesn't recognise either the common or the latin name
