How can I edit a location of a record? When I do so on the record's page, while the map and coordinates change, the record is still coming up as in a different county!

If the county that is showing is adjacent to the county you think it should be then it might well be due to historic county boundary changes. Biological records are based on the Watsonian vice-county system. The ceremonial county boundaries (what we normally think of as counties) change occasionally. The vice-counties provide a stable, fixed set of regions, based on ancient county boundaries, to provide consistent scientific recording. As an example, in 1972 the northern part of Berkshire became part of Oxfordshire, If someone submits records located in Abingdon then they are in the county of Oxfordshire, but their records will appear to be from Berkshire because Abingdon is located in the region defined by the fixed vice-county of Berkshire.
