As a recent convert to iRecord and starting to dabble in micro moths (eventually after resisting for so long) I am very keen to be sure my entered records are correct so really value the validation function of the site. Am I right in thinking that any rejected record due to a mis identification will be removed from the database automatically or is it my responsibility to somehow remove it?
thanks for any help on this
I have some rejected records going back to 2020. In All Records there are some marked 1799-1909, so I suspect that they do not get deleted. Where possible, if the verifier has suggested an alternative or the pictures are good enough or I have a voucher specimen, I will edit the entry. Just dropping back to genus-level may still supply a useful piece of data.on distribution.
