When I enter a species name as a casual record I don't get a drop-down list any more, and after trying to submit a record I get a message 'The taxon must been specified'. My last entry was in November 2021 and that worked fine. Is it a software problem or am I missing something?

I think if you make sure you refresh the page for entering a casual record, ie from the menu at the top, before entering the record, you may find it solves the problem.
