I have been meaning to write a request for sometime now with regard to the automatic addition of location data directly from a photo's EXIF data. I would greatly appreciate it, and Im sure so many others would as well, if this could be realised on both the mobile apps and web versions.
I would save so much time and effort, and if I am anything to judge from may well increase the number of observations.

I'm currently working on a web extension for iRecord that will do that; among other things. It's nearly ready.
I've built it for my own personal use, and it really does speed up record entry, but I intend to make it available for other iRecord users too. I only use the website, I don't use the app.
It would be really useful to know which web browser you, and other forum users, use to access the iRecord website.
