Adding records by dragging & dropping photos onto a web-form

I'd like the ability to drag & drop a group of photos into a form rather like iNaturalist does - and then fill in the names, stages & quantities under each one.

Even better if it could let me set the defaults for sex/stage and determiner etc and just populate the existing species list for that site.

I always drag and drop my pictures.  But do you mean the initial step in creating a record should be loading a picture?  It's appropriate for iNaturalist as the assumption there is that you don't know what it is.  In iRecord the presumption is that you have a good idea, so the picture is just ancillary evidence to back it up.  Note that the majority of records do not have pictures.

The latter - yes I drag & drop when I enter each record but that's the problem - it's laborious because I need to click + to open the images box and then find each photo and then drag & drop them. I'd prefer to drag & drop the images to create the records THEN enter the data against them THEN add any records without photos.  :)   I take photos of 90% of the moths I trap and it just seems a lot more logical to start with the images and then fill in the metadata - then add the missing ones I wrote down but didn't photo.

Got to agree with Chris it would be a much more sensible workflow to start with the images, if you've got them. The current system is quite laborious if you have several records to enter, why make the process harder than it needs to be?
