My records not appearing since 28 May 2026

Submitted by moremoth on

I have entered 3 records since the site was updated on 28 May 2026 and they do not appear to be present.  One was entered over 12 hours ago so I have definitely waited long enough.  Is there a general issue here or is it just for me?  [PC, Windows 11]

It's not just you.  The records are saving (I can click from the app and view them on the web), but they are not showing in "explore my records" and nor is anything new showing in 'activities'.  Hopefully it is fixed soon.

... But a record I entered at 4 pm yesterday has just appeared at 10 am today, so maybe it has just become very slow.

I also entered several records yesterday (28th) afternoon.  A few are now showing in the 'My Records' view, but not all.  Also I entered some Glow-worm records last night and they are still not (as of 10:30am) in my verification list.

Im guessing the downtime has lead to a backlog of records being uploaded via the apps?

Thank you all very much for raising this issue. Following the changes made to the UK Species Inventory in iRecord (bringing it up to date), we do need to update records that are already in the system. This can be done while iRecord is online, however it meant that new records were not being indexed so that they could appear on the website and app. We've just altered the settings to index the recently added records first, they should all be appearing soon. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Best wishes,

Robin
