How exactly does the landowner access multiple different tyes of species for a specific site? I have recently shared a reptile site but the majority of my records are for hoverfly. Does everything show up on their site or only the species they are interested in?....thanks

Landowner access to my records
My bird records on iRecord still say "Pending Review". Some of these date back to 2021. My record of a Barn Owl at Graven Hill was missed by the developers because their report said that none had been recorded since 2004 which is wrong. My records were in 2020. Record Numbers 13062099 and 13062087. I was told by an expert birder to assign it as sensitive so people cannot see all the data, BUT it is there with photos. There is also a photo of a Lapwing turning her eggs (Protecting them from flood waters). This record is on the sightings at TVERC. I only record, thinking that it will help conserve our wildlife. However, it will not do so if Developers can ignore it because it has not been assessed. PLEASE can you make sure that all records with good photos are noted whether or not they have been assessed. They can be passed by an ecologist on demand by the developer. Your database is excellent but if the interfaces are not set correctly it will not produce true results.
Re. developer access to bird records
There is a multistage process for sightings to reach developers, so the issue here isn't really to do with iRecord interfaces per se, it's the local end that is the issue.
iRecord allows the sightings to be logged and held securely in a central database. These records are in theory available to local environmental record centres at this stage, but a) not all LERCs export the data (it would be a large task and staffing is often at low levels) and b) many will want the records to have been verified before exporting them. So it sounds like in this case your area does not have anyone set up to verify bird records, and that is why the records haven't been reviewed. Developers (or more specifically the ecologist they employ) are unlikely to get access to records directly from iRecord, they would usually apply to the local environmental record centre.
I would therefore advise checking with your local record centre to see if they do export data from iRecord, and in terms of birds if there is a county recorder or local naturalist society who collate the records. It might be that if you find something like breeding Lapwing then it is worth contacting the county recorder directly to make sure that the record is added to the county database.
If the landowner has an iRecord account then they will be able to view records of everything by default. If they are only interested in certain groups they can create a filter and select only the things that they are interested in.
