Species dictionary update, and problems with indexing

Submitted by iRecord support on

Earlier this week we updated the species dictionary that iRecord uses, which is based on the UK Species Inventory. This brings iRecord back in line with recent changes and additions to the Inventory.

Unfortunately there has been a side-effect from this update, which is currently causing some of our database indexing processes to stall. This means that notification emails will be delayed, and records will not get indexed to their vice-counties for a while.

We are working to fix this issue as soon as possible, and once fixed the indexing will catch up so that all records will be correctly indexed and notified in due course. In the meantime we apologise for any inconvenience.

I found the notifications very useful but they seemed to have stopped completely. Is the species directory update problem still an issue?
